In Between Service

SO we have been pretty busy around here!
We had an amazing service Saturday night that was focused on living life between brokeness and redemption. It was AMAZING!
We had a rap group called Alert, a female artist named L E Taylor, a hip hop dance group, a band from a local church called accension band, a dramatic reading, more songs of worship, a representative from inivisible children
http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php and http://thedeadend.org/ as well as http://www.coffeeambassadors.com/ . Everyone who spoke or sang or gave had the same theme....what are you doing? What difference can you make for Christ. It was a very moving experience and it actually worked! All that hard work our little group of 15 people did got over 200 people into our sanctuary! It was amazing! Not to mention the art work.... Not only did our friend Anita paint during the service up front an image of a man being pulled by God and the world....but also Jamie put up about 30 hours worth of his own work. 11 -4 foot by 3 foot charcoal drawings...which you can see below....for some reason I dont have the one of the empty tomb but that was there as well!

SO thats what I have been up to the last month! Hopefully I can get back into some writing! ; )
