Hair Care?

I was just thinkin'....is it greener to have short hair? You don't use as much shampoo and you can throw the extra hair outside and give it to the birds. Also you would use less hair products (if you use them...I know when my hubby grows his hair a lil longer he feels the need to be a greaser...LOL). What do you think? Is it more eco friendly to have short hair? technically? (This is all just speculation I am not trying to prove a point...technically it is greener to adopt kids than have kids and we all know where I am on that one LOL)

Dunno about greener, but definitely less maintenance. People still ask me if I'm a lesbian, though...not sure how you feel about that.

I actually spent more time on my hair when it was shorter (chin length) and actually had to use hair products. Now I shampoo it (mostly the roots, the ends are dry enough), puts tons of conditioner on it, rinse and let it dry. And if it's feeling dry, some days I just rinse it and put conditioner on the ends.

When my hair is short it has a tendency to fling out on one side and go in on the other. When it's long I just brush it and that's about all. I do use a lot of conditioner though.
