Well 2009 is here and along with it comes lots of changes in my life! I have been so busy getting ready for Jubilee to be here that I haven't really thought of New Years Resolutions.
I know for sure I want to try to become more organized and less cluttered. I have been trying to keep this little apartment clean and we dont have a whole lot of space to store things. I am going to try to throw things away freely and not be such a pack rat like my Daddy! : ) As far as being more organized...eek! I really am trying! This is going to be a hard commitment for me as I will have another person to throw in the mix, but I welcome the challenge!
Jamie and I have also been talking about working out and losing weight...now I know this is almost everyone's New Year Resolution. Jamie actually started before the New Year, but we have been so busy with holidays and getting things ready that it hasn't been a priority the last two weeks. Jamie had lost 10 lbs in like a week and a half so it won't be hard for him to get back into it since he has already seen results. (I am so jealous that boys can just do that!) I am hoping I will be as motivated as him! I really have been looking forward to pulling out some cardio dvd's we have and working out! I have been so physically drained lately that I just can't wait to be able to move freely again!
I also would like to find my place in our church. I know these things come in time and I have already found a small part in helping with music ministry. Jamie and I just really want to give back and we are looking for areas that we are needed. The Lord has used our church in our lives in so many ways and it makes us eager to be there for others and find out how we can give back to the purpose of Christ!
I think those are the biggest goals for the year...well other than the obvious...try to be good parents and find our groove with a little one around here! (The whole reason that I hadn't thought of any New Years Resolutions haha.) I hope she comes soon! I am constantly thinking...when? WHEN?!
