Since Memorial Day Weekend

Yes I am posting about Memorial day a littttle late but I have been BUSY!

We kicked off the weekend by  taking Juju to the E.R. ...yee ha. She had a bump on her head and was complaining about it hurting. Also she was vomiting and had a temp...BIG RED FLAG! Ended up she had not one, but two ear infections. weeeeeeeeeee.

 The next day I desperately wanted to go to Ohio as all my cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles AND my parents and brother were all hanging out. I waited to see how Juju was and since she hadn't gotten sick and would pretty much just be sitting in the car for four hours and then sitting on adults laps with not a WHOLE lot of play time, I opted to go. So glad I did. Juju had so much fun with her 3rd cousin, Sammy. I also got to see all of my cousins and hold the newest member of our family, Nickales Scott who is now 3 months! I loved sitting around and just talking...and eating...and talking. The drive was comforting to as it was the first day without any rain in what seemed like weeks and the drive takes you through little frozen in time towns and Amish country. Ah, I loved it. Memorial day was nice! We did our own thing in the morning because Jamie's mom, Sue, and hubby and his sister had their rental to tend to. We set up the kids' pool that Uncle Guy got them and sat and played for a while and had pb and j sandwiches. Just really relaxed. When the inlaws came back we cooked out and had Ricky and Glover over and just had a good night. I really enjoyed talking and swappin' stories and just catchin up.

In the meantime I have been sick, Sue and Terry were here till Friday, Juju got sick again, and we have had dr appt and such. Yesterday I was just super stressed, even though everything was finally starting to calm down. TODAY I am much better and my Juju seems to be feeling better. This week we get to prepare for a wedding in Gatlinburg! Woo hoo!
